The Center
Star Volunteer Fire Department was incorporated as a fire district by the
state of Center Star provides fire protection and rescue services along with medical service to approx 1500 homes in our coverage area. We are located in the Eastern portion of Lauderdale County. The coverage area consist of a western boundary of County Road 103 to northern boundary of County Road 73 to an eastern boundary just west of Blue Water Creek to a southern boundary of the beautiful Tennessee River, with Hwy 72 almost splitting the district in half . Center Star Fire is a member of the Lauderdale County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments and the Alabama Association of Volunteer Fire Departments. The Center Star Fire Department is always looking for volunteers who are interested in serving their community either as firefighters, EMTs or support personnel (Fire Corps).
